Pricing update
Pricing update
Here’s some fantastic news from Ozgene ARC! For January 2024, there will be NO increase in prices for our research animals, shippers, and other internally set prices.
Before the ARC acquisition by Ozgene, our CEO and Executive Vice President committed to no price increases in 2023 following the acquisition, and Ozgene ARC has proudly fulfilled this commitment. In an effort to continue supporting Australian research, we are extending this commitment into 2024 by maintaining all internally set prices. Yes, that’s a 0% increase, reflecting our dedication to maintaining the affordability of research animals.
Key points to note:
- Stock animals: No change!
- Shipper pricing, shipping & handling: Remain steady with no increase – these are our internally set prices.
- Please note that the adjustments in JetPets fees (5.4%) and airline fees (airway bill at 17%, freight per shipper between 5-7.5%) are due to external factors beyond our control. These are externally set prices, and we’ve endeavored to minimise their impact.
Despite these external fee adjustments, the overall rise in interstate shipment fees is expected to be between a modest 3% and 5%, depending on the destination and number of shippers per shipment. There will be no change in the local WA delivery fee. Our ordering portal will transition to the new pricing for deliveries in 2024.
Here at Ozgene ARC, we are committed to providing affordable research animals to the scientific community. While we ensure the best prices for our internally set items, we also strive to mitigate the impact of external price increases. We’re proud to support the scientific community with high-quality research services at competitive prices that align with our commitment to innovation and excellence.
