Bijo joined the Ozgene team in June 2022 as our Global Strategic Partnering. He is based in Cayman Islands. Before Joining Ozgene, Bijo used to work with Dr Frank and his team during the COVID pandemic as a PCR technologist in their COVID testing facility in the Cayman Islands.

Bijo received his Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology in 2008 and subsequently completed his BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology in 2012 from Sikkim Manipal University. In 2020, Bijo completed his Master of Public Health from Texila American University. As part of his new career opportunity with Ozgene, Bijo completed ‘Strategic Planning and Execution’ a short-term course from University of Virginia in 2022.

Bijo’s Medical Laboratory career started at Holy Cross Hospital and subsequently moved to Columbia Asia hospital Bangalore and then to Vikram Hospital Bangalore. In 2014 he started his career with Health City Cayman Island as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. His favorite area of work is Quality and have deep knowledge about JCI standards and laboratory proficiency programs.
